The Commission acts through networks of national and local representatives and related structures and also in interaction with several other academic and other organizations with goals and activities related to logic and education.
The overall objective of the Commission on Logic Education (CLE) of the Division for Logic, Methodology, and Philosophy of Science and Technology (DLMPST) of the International Union of History and Philosophy of Science and Technology (IUHPST) is to promote and facilitate the introduction and development of education in Logic, broadly conceived, at schools and universities worldwide, as well as other forms of education. It will strive to implement the vision on the role and importance of education in Logic stated in the 2015 Helsinki Manifesto of the DLMPST.
